This program is not to be confused with Habitat’s Global Village program, which provides short-term two-week volunteer trips. The International Volunteer Program entails a volunteer commitment of several months.

Welcome to Habitat for Humanity International’s International Volunteer Program! Since its beginning, Habitat for Humanity has relied on the expertise, commitment and spirit of volunteers to fuel its mission. With this program, you have an opportunity to join our global ministry and serve for an extended period with one of our international offices. This program is designed to

• Engage people in the international movement for simple, decent housing.

• Enhance Habitat for Humanity organizations around the world.

• Empower volunteers to have a meaningful experience with Habitat for Humanity.
