Emergency shelter kit assembly
Habitat shipped nearly 10,000 emergency shelter kits to Haiti to help make immediate basic home repairs and construct temporary shelter. The kits were assembled in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and McDonough, Georgia, United States.
More emergency shelter kits for Haiti
Habitat for Humanity is sending more than 21,000 emergency shelter kits— each packed with tarps and tools— to aid Haiti earthquake victims in making basic home repairs and to construct temporary shelter as the country's heavy rain season approaches.
